Removing The Thorns
I had something in my eye when I woke up yesterday. I looked to see if I could flush it out, but it stuck around, causing discomfort. Finally in the afternoon it must have dislodged from it's unseen location and I felt such relief. It felt so good to be rid of it. I began to think of how our problems in life can cause us discomfort as well. There are those things that fester. It can feel so bad when standing in such a place of conflict with others, with self, emotions that grate on one's entire being. Yet, once resolve, one feels such relief. A splinter or thorn can truly bug us. It festers, poking at you until you take care of it, pay attention and work to remove it. Problems can be like that too. They will stick around and nag us, festering until we take the time to deal with them, acknowledge them, learn any lessons that were in this problem. Relief comes soon after resolution. Healing before infection sets into our being is key to this letting go. Pain and discomfort of any kind can teach us many lessons. Each instance holds another lesson and these lessons don't stop, they just keep coming so that we continue to learn. Dealing with these instances head-on can release so much, and there is always relief once we have worked our way through it. Any obstacles in the path we travel in this life are meant to teach us something. Being aware and focusing on the lesson within each obstacle will not only serve us as teacher, but will allow us to move more easily down our path. We grow in wisdom. We suffer less anxiety and stress. We 'see' and therefore don't repeat the same missteps over and over. We begin to get it, pull the thorns out and move forward with greater ease. How wonderful. Wishing you all a thorn free day. :) Love and Light, Judi

Dear Judi,
I hope you're doing much better now. Yes, with time I have learned to deal with problems, resolve them, try and not to get overwhelmed during the process... With each day comes new lessons. Like you, I treasure them all. Love, Reena
All those thorns make us stronger as we learn how to deal with them.
Greetings Dear Reena. I think it is all a unique process and yes, with each day comes new lessons. How wonderful. :) Love and Light, Judi
Warm Greetings Dear Mary, exactly, each thorn makes us stronger and we learn to deal with each, hopefully sooner rather than later, so they don't fester too long. Love and Light, Judi
