Shaking Things Up
I began a project to clean and reorganize the books in our library. Oh my, what a project. I'm on the third day now and still not done. It's been a lot of work, but also a lot of fun. I love being surrounded by all the great authors, wonderful stories, many are old and dear friends to me. The dust has been flying and it has me thinking about how we need to dust ourselves off at times too. We can become stagnant. Going down the same path, going through the motions, so predictable, not taking risks or facing new challenges, but just remaining in place. Personal progress happens, in my humble opinion, when we step out of the box and shake things up a bit. I've had plenty of time to think while dusting off the books. I've made many discoveries as I find a great book I forgot I had and can't wait to read. It brings my attention to thinking that we often miss things when we aren't paying attention to what's right there under our nose. Cleaning the books has given me time to think about my direction and see that it is indeed time once again for me to think of what I'm doing and where I'm headed and yes, perhaps time for a new direction. Not sure what will come but in the meantime I'm enjoying thinking about the great possibilities that might await me, like great books I've yet to read, life is such a grand adventure. Wishing you each the adventures found in each new day. Love and Light, Judi
