Do We Wonder As We Wander?
I know I definitely wonder as I wander. I ponder any number of things in a days time. What do our thoughts tell us? At times are we over thinking? Sometimes I catch myself doing just that, over thinking. At other times I don't think I am. I just wonder as I wander. The world and this life have so many challenges and thinking about things from different angles often helps me form my thoughts and thus opinion on things. I don't tend to believe all that's coming at me, but will ponder and even research it to form my own individual thinking on the subject. Having a questioning mind, in my opinion, is a good thing. Of course having a quiet mind is also a great thing. To rest and let things just flow can be so relaxing and gives that ole mind a break. :) Sometimes the strangest thoughts will pop into my mind. I'll wonder why this has shown up and then look to see if there's a reason for this thoughts arrival. Wonder, wander, ponder, the mind can take us so many places and we get to sift through it all. Staying out of the negative thoughts, the swamp, the dark corners I find clears the way for the positive and brighter thoughts to have more room to roam around in there. Not wanting or needing to be dragged down into the muck, I think it's best to choose to dismiss such thoughts and move on to find the more enlightening ones. I've also found that the more your brain realizes you are doing this sifting, the less it will bring forth the negative thoughts. So, I think we can train our brain not to accept spam. :) Wishing you all wonderful thoughts as you wander. Love and Light, Judi
